with sunset, a beginning

10/6/2016

Sunset

those ruling here, they cannot see
yet they're not called blind
for they are simply young and free
indeed they're one of a kind

Dawn has not arrived as yet
theres no indecency
no rule or law has yet been set
they live in jubilee

and when the sun does call
they will not shy away
nor do they fear at all
nothing keeps them at bay

 Sunrise

when night has come to a close
the sun appears in sight
coming to a fall on those
hidden beneath the night

then the once young shudder
confused at what to do
you can hear them mutter
"now I can see you"

with their faults laid open
each one of them now hide
for they feel much too broken
to even step outside
