beauty is among us

I love going on photowalks, switching my camera to macro, and kneeling down to observe and capture a bud breaking free after a winter thaw, or the delicate velvet petals of a tiny pearlescent flower in a summer field. such moments help me remember that beautiful things can sometimes sneak onto the stage of life without my notice, that I might at times have to seek them out, but the effort of finding them and observing them is worth it.
