into metal cast, hammered, shaped
without regard to placating Symmetry

fuse ink with paper
stripping bare
the assumption
everything is Fine

leave gaping holes 
in certainties
with swaths of paint
breathing Life on canvas

sculpt questions into clay
with our bare hands,
and with charcoal,
Open mouths which ask:
"what could become?"
 
and play flats, sharps and trills
​as Inquiry frolicks, 
in black and white films
with animated polar bears,
nude.
