serial boxes follows a group of individuals whose paths have intersected with wooden slatted boxes, each box painted with black numbers. these serialized boxes are scattered throughout a small rural community - beside a stream, in roadside weeds, in a lakeside shack.
these boxes elicit a variety of emotions, stir up numerous questions, and pull those who encounter them deep into a tale that began long before they were born. such a journey is capable of merging a person's unspoken doubts with fears they have yearned to silence; no longer out of sight, or out of mind.
these boxes exist because someone asked the question: "would you like to disappear?"
